This poor boy was living rough on allotments for about 3 months and being fed by visitors.  Despite all of this, he is the sweetest and most affectionate little chap, wanting to sit on your lap and be cuddled.  He does enjoy his walks and his happy to go out with all the other rescues, but typical terrier he does like to roll!!!!  We are looking for a loving and patient quiet home, with a secure garden - would suit a retired couple.

What a happy chappie Bertie is!!!  Young and full of energy, he is sadly looking for a home as him mum found him a bit too bouncy.   He is a cheeky boy and loves to be where the action is, very inquisitive, enjoys his walks and toys.  He is looking for an active family home where he can be occupied during the day out in the garden playing with the children and then will just snooze watching tv on your lap in the evening:) A confident little man he is quite happy to meet people and other dogs and loves to play and is used to a good off-lead run daily.

Cody is the last of Lily's puppies looking for a home, he is a typical terrier very inquisitive and looking for mischief!!! Obviously the pups need regular meals and companionship at this important time in their lives and therefore cannot be left for long periods of time, so please consider this carefully before applying.  It will be a requirement of the adoption procedure that the pups are neutered/spayed when deemed old enough and written confirmation from your vets will be required together with vaccination confirmation.

This sweet pair have only just come into rescue and were sadly found abandoned.  They are quite timid at first but very friendly once they know you.  They are a lovely pair, typical terriers very inquisitive and real hedgerow dogs!!  Very affectionate once they know you and loved to sit on your lap for a kiss and cuddle.  Very dependent on each other and us such we will be homing them as a pair.  They are due to be neutered this week and will move into a foster home.

Dotty is totally deaf but despite this she is the funniest, happiest young dog you could wish to meet. She is full of beans and loves everyone! She has an amazing ability to make you laugh and is always rolling around smiling at you with her cheeky grin. Dotty is always happy! Due to people's intolerance and ignorance Dotty has had little training and has been given little time and attention. She loves to be close to you, cuddling up and looking at you with her big pricked up ears and smiley face! She is totally trusting of people and is desperate to be loved. It is possible that Dotty will bark or howl if she is left on her own because of her devotion to people. Advise can be given on how to reduce this but it would be Dotty’s dream to have company most of the time.  Dotty walks nicely on the lead and has been pleasant to other dogs she has met on lead, but she does get excited and has chased dogs when off-lead. As she cannot hear you call this can be dangerous. Therefore, because of her lack of hearing it is likely that she will always need to be walked on an extending lead or long lead unless in an enclosed area.  We have started training Dotty using a vibration collar. (Please note this is a vibration only collar and not a shock collar. We are totally against the use of electric shock collars.) Every time Dotty feels the vibration, we are training her to look at her handler to receive further instructions. She learns quickly and enjoys training. Dotty loves toys and would run after a ball happily all day so she would love somewhere with a large garden. Although she has previously lived with children we feel that any family would need to have children of teenage years and above as she can be inadvertently boisterous when playing and greeting.

As a small charity we usually only home dogs in the local vicinity however we are happy to hear from potential homes further a field to help us find the right home for Dotty. Thank you for reading about her. She really is the most affectionate dog that will make you laugh all day!

Sadly poor Sox was discovered in a locker by the stairs to a block of flats and owes his life to the caretaker who heard whimpering and called the dog warden - vets aged him at only 4 weeks .... he is now nearly 7 weeks and doing well in his foster home with all his canine and feline brothers and sisters and will be ready to go to a home in the next couple of weeks.  We are looking for a family home with bull breed experience who wil continue with his training classes that start next week.

Minnie is a real sweetie! Very affectionate and friendly, she loves cuddles and likes to give you a good face wash!!  She previously lived with another staffie bitch but does like all the fuss so we are looking for an active home as an only pet with lots of love and hugs to give this girlie!  She is a real smasher and would make a great companion, so if you have room in your heart please consider her as she loves children and would make a great family pet.  Poor Minnie has been with us since March and sadly is still looking for her forever home :(   She is currently in foster, and can only be described as a real dream!!  She is clean, affectionate, obedient, can be left, and is a real smashing little girl - a true staffie she would love an active family home!!
