It doesn't matter how old your old phone is, even if it works or not, all phones can be recycled, so encourage friends, relatives and colleagues to do the same. We will recycle your old handset on your behalf, we receive a small amount of money from doing so which we will use towards veterinary and kennelling fees for our rescue dogs. Please ensure you remove your SIM card from any phones you send, and please send only the phone, not the chargers. Any SIM cards received will be destroyed. A great day out for all the family including canine companions, come along and support our stall by picking up a bargain and helping our four legged friends. We look forward to seeing you there!! Many thanks for all that came to help on the stall and all those that purchased some goodies from us, the sun shined all day and people came in their droves which helped us to raise £447.00!!! A big thank you also to Mattel Limited who donated a number of new toys and helped make the day such a success!! Sunday 28th June 2009 Bletchingley Village Fete, Grange Meadow, Bletchingley We have our normal bric-a-brac stall but thanks to our new helper Paula who is very skilled in the craft dept we now have a selection of cards, lavender bags and handy tissue cases!!! She has also organised a tombola and a name the cuddley toy - a big round of a-PAWS from all our four legged friends!!!!!!! Donations of decent ornaments, unwanted gifts and table top items are always required as we cannot keep up with sales - we can collect locally please call 01883-334515 or email nikki@epsomcaninerescue.co.uk Many thanks to all who donated goodies to sell and we cleared £121.00!! Sunday 9th August 2009 Chertsey Show, Mead Lane, Chertsey 10.00am onwards This is the first time we have done this show and are conveniently positioned near the dog show area and will be selling an array of doggie goodies including Paula's special designer doggie bandanas for those trendy pooches, new squeaky toys to annoy canine parents, childrens toys, our usual bric a brac and Paula will be running her 'posh' tombola with lots of wonderful prizes!! Please come and support us and make our day a success!!!!! Despite all Paula's hardwork we only managed to clear £130.05 - please we need your support so come along and make Godstone a success as we are quickly disappearing under vet and kennel bills at the moment!!!! Bank Holiday Monday 31st August 2009 Godstone Village Fete, The Green, Godstone - 11am onwards This is normally one of our biggest annual fundraisers and we will definately need to replenish our stocks for this, so please dig deep in cupboards for all last years unwanted pressies etc!!!! It is a great family day out with something for all ages and we always like to see some of our happily homed canines showing off their new owners!!! Please come and help us beat last years total of £600!!!! A big thank you to all those who gave up their time to help on the stalls, we managed to get a second pitch which helped us to raise an amazing £871.00. This figure was helped enormously by way of a large cheque given at the event by one of our supporters who visited the stalls with one of our rescue dogs!!!! Scoobie had a day out from the kennels at the Fete and was the demonstration dog for T-Touch and lapped up all the fuss and attention and was spotted by a family who are considering offering him a home - so fingers crossed for him!!! Harvey Floyd pictured below sporting his new bandana purchased from our stall did very well in the dog show as you can see, and the weather was great!! Saturday 7th November 2009 11am - 3.30pm Glyn School Craft Fayre, The Kingsway, Ewell Village Lots of original Christmas gifts and goodies for all the family, come along and support us and help make Christmas easier for our four legged orphans... Thanks to Paula's hardwork we managed to clear £161.00!!!! Well done Paula!!! Sunday 29th November 2009 10am - 4.00pm Bullie Christmas Party, Hilders Farm, Hilders Lane, Edenbridge, Kent, TN8 6LD We have been offered a stall at this great indoor venue, fabulous at this time of year with the weather being so unpredictable!! Our stall will be selling loads of christmas goodies for both you and your canine companion and all proceeds go to our rescues who will sadly be spending Christmas in a kennel and not asleep in front of a log fire with the thought of a hot turkey dinner :( Please come and spend some of those hard earned pennies and make their life a bit easier. There will be lots of other stalls and a dog show, raffle and auction so bring your 'nanny' dogs!! Thanks to Paula's hardwork we managed to make £119.00 and Ticky had a day out from the kennels and was the stall mascot as you can see and one of our customers 'sporting' one of Paula's designer bandanas!!   Saturday 5th December 2009 11am - 2.00pm Flag Day, Pets at Home,Unit 6 Lion Retail Park, Kent Road, Woking, Surrey GU22 8BD Pets at Home have kindly allowed us to have a Christmas collection outside their store to raise funds desperately needed to cover ongoing veterinary and kennel fees. Please come and support us by shaking a collection tin, donating some goods bought in the store and most importantly getting rid of all that loose change in your pockets!! A big thank to Pets at Home for having us and Tim, Mandy, Paula and Steve for braving the cold to rattle tins and we managed to collect £96.12. Minnie also had a day out from the kennels and is seen here greeting some children at our stand!!   We now have our www.easyfundraising.org.uk account up and running so please do all of your online purchases for Christmas - just register and select us as your nominated charity and then use the links for al your favourite shops and we get a donation!!
