	DOTTY BREED: ENGLISH BULL TERRIER CROSS SEX: FEMALE AGE: APP 2 YEARS COLOUR: WHITE WITH BLACK DOTS DOG FRIENDLY: YES CATS: UNKNOWN CHILDREN: YES OLDER (MICROCHIPPED/VACCINATED AND SPAYED) Dotty is totally deaf but despite this she is the funniest, happiest young dog you could wish to meet. She is full of beans and loves everyone! She has an amazing ability to make you laugh and is always rolling around smiling at you with her cheeky grin. Dotty is always happy! Due to people's intolerance and ignorance Dotty has had little training and has been given little time and attention. She loves to be close to you, cuddling up and looking at you with her big pricked up ears and smiley face! She is totally trusting of people and is desperate to be loved. It is possible that Dotty will bark or howl if she is left on her own because of her devotion to people. Advise can be given on how to reduce this but it would be Dotty’s dream to have company most of the time. Dotty walks nicely on the lead and has been pleasant to other dogs she has met on lead, but she does get excited and has chased dogs when off-lead. As she cannot hear you call this can be dangerous. Therefore, because of her lack of hearing it is likely that she will always need to be walked on an extending lead or long lead unless in an enclosed area. We have started training Dotty using a vibration collar. (Please note this is a vibration only collar and not a shock collar. We are totally against the use of electric shock collars.) Every time Dotty feels the vibration, we are training her to look at her handler to receive further instructions. She learns quickly and enjoys training. Dotty loves toys and would run after a ball happily all day so she would love somewhere with a large garden. Although she has previously lived with children we feel that any family would need to have children of teenage years and above as she can be inadvertently boisterous when playing and greeting. As a small charity we usually only home dogs in the local vicinity however we are happy to hear from potential homes further a field to help us find the right home for Dotty. Thank you for reading about her. She really is the most affectionate dog that will make you laugh all day!



	TICKY BREED: SMALL CROSSBREED (DACHSIE CROSS) SEX: FEMALE AGE: APP 4 YRS COLOUR: BRINDLE DOG FRIENDLY: YES CAT FRIENDLY: UNKNOWN CHILD FRIENDLY: YES OLDER Ticky is a real sweetie, a bit shy at first but then quite happy to spend all day being fussed!! We know she has previously lived with another dog and is quite happy walking with all the others large and small. A firm favourite with all the kennel staff and a little poppet!! We are looking for quiet and settled home and she would suit an active retired person been quite happy for one good walk and then a game with a tennis ball which she loves in the garden! She is currently in foster and has really come out of her shell!! She is very playful and will be up on your lap as soon as you sit down!!! (VACCINATED/MICROCHIPPED/SPAYED)

	PATCH BREED: JACK RUSSELL TERRIER SEX: MALE AGE: APP 3 YEARS COLOUR: TRI-COLOUR SMOOTH COAT DOG FRIENDLY: YES CATS: NO!!! WILL CHASE!! CHILDREN: YES Patch is a typical Jacky, very nosey, likes his own voice but LOVES a cuddle too!!! He is a real baby and justs wants to be with you being kissed and cuddled a real softie!!!! He loves his walks with all the sniffs but is also pleased to be back to sit on your knee for some affection!!! He would make a great companion and loyal friend - a real true example of his breed and a little cracker!!! He is currently in foster with 4 other dogs and is enjoying every minute of it and would love to go to a home with another canine playmate!!

	MINNIE BREED: STAFFIE SEX: FEMALE AGE: APPROX 4 YRS COLOUR: BLACK AND WHITE DOG FRIENDLY: YES CAT FRIENDLY: UNKNOWN CHILD FRIENDLY: YES OLDER Minnie is a real sweetie!! Very affectionate and friendly, she loves cuddles and likes to give you a good face wash!! She previously lived with another staffie bitch but does like all the fuss so we are looking for an active home as an only pet with lots of love and hugs to give this girlie! She is a real smasher and would make a great companion, so if you have room in your heart please consider her as she loves children and would make a great family pet. Poor Minnie has been with us since March and sadly is still looking for her forever home :( She is currently in foster, and can only be described as a real dream!! She is clean, affectionate, obedient, can be left, and is a real smashing little girl - a true staffie she would love an active family home!! 	FREDDIE BREED: STAFFIE SEX: MALE AGE: 3 YEARS COLOUR: BRINDLE DOG FRIENDLY: YES CAT FRIENDLY: YES CHILD FRIENDLY: NOT SUITABLE Freddie has come into rescue as his owner can no longer cope. He is unsure of new people but this has a lot to do with previous damage to his eyes causing a reduced ability to focus and judge distance. Despite this, he is affectionate, loving and very sensitive and would suit a quiet adult/retired home with bull breed experience. We have now confirmed that poor Freddie has Glaucoma in one eye but is stable on his eyedrops which cost approx 30p per day and he now sits and puts his face forward for his drops. If there are any saints out there with big hearts that could help this little man please call :( He really has come on such a lot and we would love to see him in a nice quiet home with a warm bed before the weather gets colder ...... 	JAZZ BREED: LURCHER SEX: FEMALE AGE: 12 MONTHS COLOUR: BLACK DOG FRIENDLY: YES CAT FRIENDLY: UNKNOWN CHILDREN: YES This beautiful one year old female came into rescue with a badly set broken leg, which then had to be amputated. She has adjusted extremely well to life on three legs and can outrun all her dog friends with four. She would be good with children and would love to participate in family life. She is living with an older dog already, so mixes well with other dogs. Lurchers are very lively dogs and if you have had any previous experience of this type, it could be an advantage.
